Acne Spot Treatments and Acne Scar Treatments
Most of our acne and scar treatments are compatible with common acne medications and antibiotics. However, Accutane should be stopped before seeking laser treatments.
Two of our most effective and popular acne scar treatments and acne spot treatments are BBL and Halo.
Forever Young Broadband Light (BBL) Therapy
Broadband light therapy is a powerful, effective treatment that targets the red and brown discolored skin areas, otherwise known as postinflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), that remain after acne clears.
Also known as a photofacial, BBL therapy delivers customized, precise treatment for a wide variety of additional skin conditions, some of which include:

Treatment sessions for BBL therapy typically run from 30 to 60 minutes, and there is usually no downtime or recovery time. Most of our patients who wear makeup can put it back on soon after treatment.
We usually recommend beginning with a series of three to five treatments that are done with four weeks in between. After this, we might schedule up to three follow-up treatments each year to maintain the results.
Halo
